Focus on the Church

Should the 'Church' be blamed for negligence?

Should the church be blamed for Negligence? Absolutely yes!!! The Church has responsibilities directly assigned by its head, the Lord Jesus Christ. His identification or definition of church is anyone or group of people who will 'catch' the revelation of who He is; The Christ; The Son of the Living God! (Matt. 16:16-18)

Have you caught that revelation? Is your answer 'yes?' Then you are the Church. You are charged with the responsibility, according to Matt. 28: 18-20,  of 1. Preaching the Gospel, 2. baptizing people (getting them to symbolically and publicly denouce their old life and embrace the new by identifying with Christ's death, burial and resurrection and 3. Teaching all converts to observe the ways of the Kingdom.

So then, when the ways of the Kingdom are not being observed, who takes the blame? Is it an organization that has adopted a name for itself,  registered this name under the laws of the state, situated itself in a building and has a few followers or workers? Of course not!!! The one to be blamed is the one with the revelation of who Jesus Christ is! YOU are to be blamed! SO RISE UP from your slumber soldier and go do your work. Stop the blame game!

The men Jesus called and worked with were very ordinary just like you and I. That is your best blessing. The fact that you are ordinary and therefore very relatable. Go use that blessing and change the world!

Yours,

Minister Debbie Hare
